Eastside Community Mental Health Services provides no-cost mental health support to youth, adults, and families.
Support is available by telephone, virtual appointment, and in person, with walk-in services available during designated hours.
Services include crisis support, single-session therapy, family support, referrals, and help navigating Alberta's mental health system.
Support is also available in several languages, subject to clinician availability.
The University of Calgary Psychology Clinic provides low-cost psychological services to the Calgary community.
Graduate students in Clinical Psychology provide services under the supervision of registered doctoral-level clinical psychologists.
The clinic provides psychotherapy for concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, insomnia, and other mental health concerns.
Fees are based on a sliding scale according to household income, and the clinic indicates that additional fee accommodation may sometimes be available.
Carya provides mental health and family supports in Calgary and offers subsidized counselling to help reduce financial barriers.
Services include supports for older adults and families as well as programs addressing anxiety, grief, relationships, parenting, and other mental health and family concerns.

The Alex provides integrated health, mental health, addiction, housing, food-security, and social supports for people experiencing barriers to care.
It may be particularly helpful for individuals whose mental health concerns are occurring alongside financial difficulties, housing instability, health concerns, or other social challenges.

The Addiction Help Line provides confidential support, information, counselling, and referrals for Albertans experiencing concerns related to alcohol, drugs, gambling, or other substance-use and addiction issues.
Recovery Alberta maintains a searchable directory of mental health and addiction programs throughout Alberta. Some services can be accessed directly, while others may require a referral from a health professional.
